Time To Be Active

Well, I have spent enough time here this morning and I can feel my body getting stiff. Time to get out there and be active for a while. First, I will do my walking and then a short break here, and then mowing the front lawn. The weather is gorgeous and it will be fun and relaxing. Then I will have lunch. Isn't nice to be retired and do exactly what one wants to do? I think so! How about you? Are you enjoying your "retired" life?

I most certainly am. I'm glad you're having a gorgeous day. We had some early morning rain, but the sun is out now peeking through the clouds.

My walk just wiped me out this morning and just trying to get some energy back right now. I hope that it comes back soon.

@marlina I hope so too. Unfortunately I was unable to go to the pool this morning. I spent the night in the bathroom. I had my suit on for all of five minutes before the bathroom called me back again.

I made a big pitcher of sweet tea, have clothes in the dryer, watered the shrubs in the front yard - after lunch it will be pool time. I've enjoyed retired life for many years.

@marlina I am. Not able to work but I guess that is retired though I may go back to school online and get a Phd in literature and do research and write in journals from home!

I'm not retired but I do enjoy the freedom of not work. I have the plant shown in your photo in my garden but I can't remember what it's called.

Hello @andriaperry, do you mean that you cut the grass way too short?

@marlina LOL, no I had to mow the grown up fields and I was mad so I mowed it down and made sure it was just cut, I get mad and I take it out on cleaning something, or this time mowing the grass down.

I have 7 years to go to retire. That's the plan anyway. It would be nice to do what you want and when you want. And if you want.
