Large Spider

This is the spider (well, one of them) that hangs out by my compost bin. It attracts a lot of flies and mosquitoes so I'm sure he gets quite a bit to eat.

So are my wife and kids. However, I've made it perfectly clear to them the only time I will kill a spider for them is if it is in the house and I can't catch it alive. I would much rather have them than mosquitoes and other annoying insects.

@srhelmer my father also told me when I was a kid that he likes spiders too more than any other insect because they help him catch mosquitos but i'm still scared. He like spiders and lizards.

@Marchy Most of the ones we have around here look menacing but are harmless. They don't even bite, unless you're a fly.

Just think if it was made huge by atomic energy as in old movies. Scary.

They look scary but don't even bite. I've had a few of them crawling on me before.
