Soon a Change of Season

I feel it that cold north wind is blowing in. The mornings are much quieter. I don’t hear song birds. Our cat Sid winds up sitting on a chair in the kitchen and no longer dashes out in the warm early morning sunshine because the skies are gray and dreary. I hate this transition because I know what is coming. The early dark nights and they stretch almost to eternity. Well that is the time when I attempt to do housework until the long shadows form. Then I close up all the curtains in my bedroom so I want have to keep looking at inky blackness and head for my PC. Once I get working the nighttime no longer matters it just sometimes takes so long to get used to it all once more. Amazing as it might seem things along the road are still green and blooming. Are your days becoming shorter? Who is looking forward to springtime now?
