The news story that amazed me with its cruelty.

The city I live in is no different from any other city. It seems like the crime rate increases as each day passes. We have more than our fair share of drugs and violence. So it is not uncommon for me to come across these types of news stories when checking the local news.
However there was one news storuli I read yesterday that surprised and amazed me with the sheer cruelty of the man reaponsibke for the crime. At a gas station early yesterday morning a man and woman got into a fight and it ended with the male dousing the female with gasoline and setting her on fire.
When I read the story first thing Jon the morning , they hadn't caught the man. However when I checked later in the day he had been booked. She is in the hospital with burns and other injuries. I hope she makes it and gets as far away from him as possible .

That is terrible. Whether she makes it or not she is forever scared both physically and mentally for the rest of her life. How could somebody to that to someone? I hope he gets what he deserves. You can only imagine the kind of life she lived up until this happened. It just sickens me to think of what lies ahead for her.

It makes me sad. Because I guarantee you if someone abuses someone else this way it wasnt the first time he has laid hands on her. And I just hope she is smart enough to realize she can do so much better. She needs to get away.

@thislittlepennyearns She will now because he is going to jail for a very long time and she will be scared for the rest of her life. It is too bad she didn't get away sooner.

The man is in jail as of last night. Im not sure if he had a bond or not. I didn't pay attention much to the arrest report or anything

I dont understand how some1 can show this level of cruelty.. fights happen many a times .. that doesnt mean to take it to the risk of ones life.. its just disgusting
