is dedicated to Lord shiva. According to Brahmanda Purana this was founded by Parashurama. He persecuted all Kshtriyas 21 times on the earth and in order to expiate the sin he performed Yagna here. and at the end of the Yagna he donated the entire land to Brahmins as A reward or Dakshina. This is located in the Thrissur dist of Kerala. This temple has been recommended to be included in the World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.
