Best burger I ever made myself!!!

I just made the best hamburger that I have ever eaten... I woud have never thought that this combo, would be so delicious. I was in Publix today, and I went up to the station, where they prepare samples for customers to try. They had this turkery burger, which I was not really crazy about eating in the first place, even though I know it is healthier for you. If I am going to eat a burger, I want a burger made of beef, not turkey! LOL Well... The sample they made was so good...I decided that since I already had beef in the freezer, I would make the burgers with beef, instead of turkey. Oh man!!!! Was that a good choice. I forgot to pick up some arugula, but like I always do...I improvised. And my version was just as good. After I made the burger, which I cooked in a burger griddle, that I picked up awhile back at a thrift store for $2. I have some stories to tell about how God has replaced things at incredible prices...but will do that later. Anyway... I placed the burger on a bun; then added brie cheese, chopped green onions (in place of the arugula), sliced apple, a little mayonnaise, and some cranberry relish that I made with orange zest. The arugula would have put the burger over the top, but I did not feel like going back to the store. Again... Man...was this the best burger I ever ate!!! I am going to make me another one! My tastes buds are screaming for more!!!

And did you fry it or placed it at a grill? Someone gave me once a burger maker and I don´t know where it is. I mold them in my hands. I´ll look for the hamburger maker. THey must come out nicer.

The burger maker does not fry or grill. It just cooks the hamburger, and has a drip pan, where all the fat goes. So it is not greasy. Though I have to admit that a little grease makes it taste good. But this one had all the grease drained off.

@teresatrotter Mine is just a mold. But I´ll check if there is something like that at a reasonable price. The doctor told me yesterday not to use any meat that showed grease. But I can always shut my eyes for a while

@marguicha - LOL Well... I don't know if you have thrift stores. But if you do, you might be able to pick one up there. I know what you mean now. I had one of those that you had once. All they do is form the patties. What I have actually cooks the patties, and drains the grease to the bottom.

That sounds really good. I have never had apple on a burger before and the cranberry relish sounds so good. Now I want a burger.

@teresatrotter I have heard of people putting apple on their sandwiches so why not? You never know unless you try.

Wow, that sounds good. I think if you were to get the same quantity and quality outside, you would need to pay more than ten dollars for it.

The thing I have to be careful about is it being too dry. However, in this case...with all the stuff on it, it kept that from happening.
