My husband works in the pool industry and business is slow right now. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and looking for opportunities to make money from home. Any advice on making an extra supplemental income in the winter months?

Theres a site called slice the pie. You listen to songs and do reviews. If your decent at writing you shouldnt have a problem. They start you low maybe 5cent a review, After reviewing a while to level up the highest pay is 15cent a review. The reviews dont have to be long! It takes around 4mins to write one. Its not a big pay check or even getting rich! But last Christmas i banked 200$ in a month's time. They pay through PayPal and it's legit. You can earn some if you keep reviewing! Also they have a fashion part on the site, where you can review clothes!

@Bella27 thanks for the heads up on Slice the Pie. I've never heard of that and I've been researching things to do from home in my free time to earn a little extra money. That sounds like a pretty decent little bank for just listening to songs (which I do anyway) and sharing a little opinion on it. xD

Mystery shopping is what I enjoy doing for extra money. This week I didn't do many. But I got the oil changed on the car. I will be reimbursed for that plus $10 in my pocket for the fee. I will be reimbursed for one pizza plus $10 fee. I will be reimbursed for $20 worth of gas and $15 worth of groceries. So the time I spent out of the house was just regular errands. I will be reimbursed for things I needed anyway plus earn a little.

How do you get into this? How do I go about starting it? What site or app do you use?

@Kortneyls My favourite subject. Join the mystery shopping forum. At the bottom of the page in blue is a list of reputable companies. Sign up with All of them. They all have different assignments. Pretty much every type of business is mystery shopped. Banks, post offices, etc.

Since you're a mom, I'd suggest Swagbucks if you're not already using it, since that can get you a lot of money back on shopping trips (especially the coupons). Checkout 51 and Ibotta are helpful too, since you're probably buying a lot of groceries. If you don't seem to be buying much of what they pay back for, then don't waste your time. If you live in the city or near a bus stop for lots of kids, you could ask around and see if any parents leave for work early in the morning or don't get home until late and you could have them pay you to give their kids breakfast and dinner and watch them until the bus comes or until they get home.

I did amazonturk for a while I have mixed feelings about it, and it can take a while to add up, but it's not too bad. How long have you done Amazonturk MD?
