No plans today, but my battery dies quickly. Gosh, I need a laptop...any recommendations? Brands I mean, I want it to have good space and Ram, as well as speed.

HP laptops are definitely in that price range and offer a good amount of both space and ram. However, that said, the last two HP Laptops I've owned I've had harddrive/motherboard issues out of. I know a lot of people swear by them. But when my harddrive crashed in my most recent HP after a little over a year, I purchased an MSI gaming laptop O.O sticker shock, @ $1500 when my old HP was around $500-600. But I've heard Asus computers are in that price range and a lot of people have luck with them. Maybe worth a try
