Jason La Canfora reports the news on Monday the New York Jets will be working out former Buffalo Bills running back C J Spiller on Tuesday. Spiller stared his career in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills in 2010. Spiller has played in the league for the Bills from 2010-2014 and the New Orleans Saints in 2015. The Saints released Spiller on September 13, 2016. His chances of making the Jets might be good since he has worked for Jets offensive coordinator Chan Gailey during their time with the Bills. If Spiller does make the team, he will be backing up Jets running backs Bilal Powell and Matt Forte. The catch is that Spiller will have competition to make the team against other free agents in the workout session on Tuesday.

I didn't think players were still working out for spots.
