Fire all Around

There is a wildfire going in the mountains around Santa Cruz in California. Some of my relatives live there. They can see the columns of smoke and flames. It is about eight miles from my brother's place and my niece saw the fire rise up over the crest of a hill. She saw it from her house.
There are evacuations being carried out and home and buildings have burned. It is scary knowing of the danger. If you are a praying person, please pray for the safety of people living in those areas.

Yeah, me too. The Petaluma fire was not from the wildfire. There were six houses burning. They don't know what started that one. There was a truck burning on a bridge. Then there was the wildfire which is 5% under control. Bad day in California.

@Loverabbit I am trying to find out what happened. I hope they got the fire out but don't find any info about it. No news is good news, they say.

@akalinus ahaan and what about the brother? Did you hear anything about him yet I hope he is doing good too and there be no need to evacuate. Did someone not call for emergency

When nature is out of control it is a serious business and praying about it is all we can do with these forest fires ruining people's lives.

@Aquitaine24 Yes, they always should but some set fires on purpose. Always be watchful. Fires are an awful thing.

I remember the big one in the 1980s. You could see it from the valley.

We are definitely praying for everyone in the fire areas. It's so scary. We are supposed to have some rain coming possibly this weekend. I so hope it arrives.I hope it arrives for our whole state. I hope your family will be all right.
