The storms are scaring my baby

What is up with this thunder another loud clap of thunder I was trying to relax and here comes my furbaby full force pounce OW!!! he starts harllowing at me let me know he is not happy. Poor baby what a night this gonna because not only is he wound up but everything the thunder rolls my dog Mazey growls at the door. Seriously guys. What is it about storms that sometimes gets animals wound up like this?

I dont mind them that much expect the achness I get. The loudness of the thunder annoys me more than anything.

My two cats seem to be unmindful of the thunder and lightning. The other night we had heavy rain and the thunder was too loud but they seem ok.

I do not like storms too ,especially the thunder and lighting scare me .

It's not the storm, it is the noise that scares animals and they do not know where the noise of the thunders comes from. This scares them.

My cat is petrified of thunder too. He hides in a closet and shakes and drools.
