Stephen J Nesbitt reports the news Pittsburgh Pirates right handed relief pitcher Neftali Perez will not likely be pitching in any more games for the remainder of the 2016 Major League Baseball season. Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle does not want to place in jeopardy the health of his right handed relief pitcher since he is currently battling an arm injury that has sidelined him since his last relief pitching appearance on September 3, 2016. The Pirates are in contention to make a wild card appearance this year so it makes sense to shut down Feliz for the rest of the current baseball season. Feliz can become a free agent at the end of the 2017 Major League Baseball season.

I believe it is time to stick a fork in the Pirates. They are done for 2016.

Their playoff dreams are over for this year.
