Have you set your arbitrary MyLot goal for September?

The money we make here is secondary, but that's doesn't stop me from setting arbitrary goals as the end of the month nears. About three days ago, I saw that I'd have a chance to make $xx.xx if I had a couple of decent days, and I still have a chance to achieve that goal. My actual level of care is comparable to watching a Cleveland Browns/Cincinnati Bengals football game (not very high), but I'm shooting for it anyway. My last post was a flop as far as "readership," so I'm up against long odds now. But I'm not giving up. Have you set arbitrary goals for this month?

Not for myLot. Other sites help me meet my financial goals much more quickly, so I've been focusing my efforts on those recently. There's also the fact that I'm gnashing my teeth over certain posts here in the last week, and cursing myLot because the damn block feature doesn't actually block discussions started by a person you've blocked. Go figure. Hell, if I bother setting goals for myself here on myLot I end up getting fed up and going into lurker mode for a few months, so I stopped doing that years ago.

Oh, I'm making extra "real" money right now because they've needed me at the preschool for the last few weeks straight. I'm actually going to buy a guitar amplifier this week.

@poliugh What weird posts, @yukimori, if you don't mind discussing them? "I was stoned and I missed it."

Good luck reaching your goal, you've still got another day. I don't set goals myself.

No...I just enjoy and you know...I love teasing and troubling...and at times courting controversies...even if I don't believe in the subject matter...it helps to know who can come out logically and who would be just not the questioning type of person...it is fun...and I also force people out of their shells...at times.

I'd like to court more controversies. But I haven't done a very good job of it so far. Maybe my writing style is too "diplomatic."

That would be one o my goals too, as that's the "old" payout minimum. Old habits die hard, don't they?

I've made a $ goal one month and it worked out. It is like any other small goal that might make you feel good. This month I wanted to write less here actually but it looks like that one will be carried over.

@TheHorse No, I didn't succeed with it. I need to go after my goal. There is always time. Maybe next month can do more.

Since this is the last day of September maybe making goals for October would be the way to go. I stopped goal making when I stopped making money at writing online LOL.

Not this month because I've had so much to do with moving and unpacking. However, I will set them for October. It's just good for me to know I've made a bit over the minimum.

@TheHorse The unpacking is finally done And now I'm back to getting other things accomplished - my novel, here, Swagbucks as well as swimming. So I'm not exactly relaxing, or maybe I am since I enjoy all of it.

After a month which included visiting and care following a family medical emergency, plus a week with no internet, my goal is just to move my balance up a bit and hope to get in more activity in October (and hit payout by then).

I did hope to make payout, but we have pretty much usex up all our internet package for the month so I have spent the last week avoiding the internet. I am not going to pay for a bigger package so I can reach payout on myLot.

Well, from what I checked I did about the same amount both in August and in September (some 50 cents), though in September I was active a far greater number of days than in August. Given the sums involved, the only goal I could set would be to cash out about once a year, to use the money for some micro-payments online.

Every month I hope to make $10, as the minimum we had at the old mylot. Sometimes I make it and sometimes I don´t. I don¨t really mind it, it is just a game.

I can't say that I set arbitrary goals....I hope to reach the magic $5.00, but no sweat if I don't. I get tired though, of reading post after post about how many pennies someone earned yesterday or on their last discussion......

Yes i have set a goal, i'm hoping to get minimum considering this will be my first payout. But every time after that, i'll push for more. It's just not easy interacting too much, i'm low on time a lot (except weekends)
