More “word pictures” to ponder. Can you picture in your mind what the words in the poem depict. If so, I was successful with painting a word picture.

The hero lies in an unmarked grave.
Another forgotten story.
His name unknown, and yet,
His life, a tale of glory.
Poem #2
Father’s hands worked twelve-plus hours
His hands were sorely worn.
Yet Father’s arms protected us,
From the day that we were born.
