When You Look In The Mirror / myLot

When you look in the mirror what do you see? Do you see yourself as you are or what you want to be? Do you see yourself as younger than the reflection shows to you? Or do you see the greying hair and the wrinkles God gave to you? Are you proud of what you've accomplished, the kind words you've used today? Can you hold your head up high, or do you want to walk away? Can you look yourself in the eyes and know that you are good? Or are you ashamed of what you've said instead of what you should?

I read that as a poem and it brought tears to my eyes, it's that good. I see me when I look in the mirror, all the flaws and the good things too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem!

Sometimes it does. This post came about because of a question I heard one of my neighbors ask her sister. "How do you look at yourself in the mirror at night".

I see exactly who I am and I have no problem looking myself in the mirror, today anyway LOL.

I see my mother,except she was twenty years older when she looked like this.My mother was a wonderful person,happy,ready to help all,enjoyed entertaining, loved baking cakes for birthdays,celebrations for family and friends alike.
