A Friend Request from a Stranger / myLot

Some people whom I really didn't know tried to make friends with me in Facebook. Actually, I had bad feelings with them because when I look into their profile (see photo above), I found out that they open their FB account just recently. So, I didn't accept most of them for I believe they were scammers who wanted to get money from us by all means. I have some friends who were being scam with similar people. So beware! Any thoughts?

Yes h should never accept friend request of strangers... Fb is a platform for social communication but it is our decision whom we want to make a part of our social circle... Even I get random friend requests from many unknown faces but immediately decline them I can't allow any stranger to peep in my personal life and look at my pics... Our safety is in our hands

That is true social media is under scam, there are even terrorists in fake identity. Yet there are good people too. I made very good friends through facebook who were completely strangers to me, but now we know each other and are very helpful to each other. Not everyone is bad.

It is good you did not accept them as friend; me too, I don't accept friends if I did not know them.

I don't accept friend requests like this. No mutual friends and their location is very far from where I am, I wonder how did they found our profiles.

If thats your original account, than its good not to accept requests from strangers. However if thats your fake account, than accept it, you are not going to give your true identity anyway, and come to know many other people who are not scammers.
