Fruit picking jobs

Hey, I was just researching about fruit picking jobs in Australia and New Zealand. They seems to pay very good, almost one month salary from my country can be earned for day or two there. Did anyone worket amywhere as fruiy picker and how was it? Any recommendations?

I've done it here in the past and the pay was crap and the work backbreaking.
What would be a "normal" salary in your country for something like a dishwashing job in a hotel or restaurant?

@Amel94 what sort of money though?
we have a lot of people in our hotel from romania, bulgaria, greece, portugal and lots of other places.
They come as wages are higher here but so is the cost of living.
What money would a low paid worker like me be on in your country...just say in your money and I'll convert it to pounds.
