Watching TV. Cops are underpaid in my country. / myLot

I was watching some news here and I could understand why there are drugs, drug dealears and people with all sorts of weapons around. I don´t know if it happens elsewhere,but here the common cops are underpaid and most of the time they come from the same neighborhoods where the bad guys live.Only they have smallguns and the others have the best.There´s no way a cop will win. And they will end finally in a nice chapel with their parents crying for a dead 22 year old. As if a cop kills a guy who is aiming guns and stones to other peole, it can be an dishonorable discharche from the corps. We don´t have enough jails and we don´t have enough cops. Is this what is called that Justice is blindfolded? How is in your country?

IN my country cops are paid a decent wage for a decent living. Criminality is on the rise and it has always been

I´m glad. Although I have heard that in your country, sometimes cops ask for tips so as to noy extend aticket.

@marguicha It´s more on some states of the country. Not on Mexico City. The Mexico City government is more strict when hiring police men into the system and they pay them dencent salaries.

Yes in India also all the policeman are given nominal wages which is nothing when compared to the work they do ..... However there are many corrupt policeman also so it is difficult to say anything

Our cops are not corrupt as in other countries, but it seems that they are working to be heroes. There´s no way they can win.
