Why Online Goods Are Cheaper Than Offline?

I had some gift coupons of a popular brand which were about to expire. This weekend, I dared to beat the traffic to buy something from the store using those coupons. After much of an effort, I could manage to buy something and got relaxed as the coupons were saved from getting lapsed. However, my contention was short-lived as after two days while browsing their site, found that the same cloths were 20% lesser in price. Not only that, the availability of the items is also substantially higher. Good that I only had fewer coupons to redeem from the store!

my son bought a laptop online, after opening the package, he found some inconsistencies, so he immediately sent an email to the office where he bought the gadget, and sent back the item the day after.

That is another good option of online purchase..you can always return if not satisfied.

That's what is nice when buying online . When there's a defect , you will return it . Imagine the hassle of having to wait for it to be sent then be returned to your end. Whereas if you buy it at the mall , you can right away go back and have it checked and be exchanged with a good one immediately .

Easy. Online businesses don't need shops and don't have to pay shop-assistants.

@moondebi Delivery boys don't cost as much as the rent in a good section of the town.

Oh is that so. that is quite disappointing. It means it is better to shop online than to go their store.

I had how many times failed purchases online . They may be cheaper but of not good quality . Are you sure it's of same quality ?

When I got my television from Best Buy there wasn't a price shown for it and I asked the clerk how much it was. He brought up the price on their site. When they rang it up, it was higher, so they gave me the lesser price from the site as that was their matching policy. I was very happy to get that kind of deal - it saved me $50.

They know they will get more people buying their things online if it is cheaper than at stores.

That must have been very annoying for you - you thought you were saving money, but just the opposite.
