Is a parent always completely responsible for the way their children turn out? Are there predispositions in children that no parent could influence? Reply With Quote

Parenting is giving your child the foundation upon which he/she will build a life. The first example a child has is it's parents, the first teacher, again parents. The genetics of your families have some bearing, on more than just hair and eye color, such things as disease, diabetes for example, mental disorders etc are all part of who or what we are. The whole point of parenting is to give a child the foundation from which to make their own choices throughout life, we begin this by allowing them choices from an early age. Education begins in the home.
