Well, even though I've kind of claimed that its fake, its just my opinion. I would like to know your opinion as well. Anyone can use internet to share anything, and sometimes the shared stuff is completely fake. Going through instagram, I saw one of my friend's post about "pistanthrophobia". It is said that its about fear of trusting someone. I absolutely believe its fake! [b][/b]*Reasons* 1) Phobia isn't about only fear..it's much more deeper and wider than fear. In fact fear is a mini subject in front of phobia. Whereas here, its already said that its "fear" 2) Phobias are ALWAYS irrational. A phobia definition says that its about "immense irrational fear". Hence, it could never be based on any reason. Here: its already said its fear due to few past experiences. 3) Name of any phobia DOESN'T COME OUT OF NOWHERE. Any disease or medical terms are named based on some meaning. Either Latin or Greek word is mostly the originality of the word. But here, there's no such originality mentioned.

I can understand having mistrust or others once having been betrayed. I have been cynical and distrustful for a long time. I always have my guard up really.

You read my discussion right? It's about an article which is going around on the internet, but, that's NOT a true knowledge at all. But, you're comment is interesting as well. Its healthy to keep the guards up!
