Today it was raining..., heavily, for the first time in weeks, so it was badly needed..., and , it looked like it had settled in for the day.
So, not being able to put our dog walk off any longer, we got our rain coats out, including our dogs new rain jacket, and got geared up for a walk in the rain, and went out..
Bosun, our dog was not sure at first, but soon got used to having his jacket on...
Several of his fans stopped us and said how sweet and cute he looked in it... but, he wanted us to tell them, that he's a roughtie tufty boy dog, and that's why he's got a hooded, camo waterproof jacket. lol

no @maggs224 he doesn't look too happy does he... but I'm not sure if that's because of his jacket...or that he was being asked to stand still and have his photo taken ...lol

As this was a necessary cover up I can see your reasons for it but dressing dogs to look cute is a different story. I think if you continue to have to walk him in the rain you might start a trend in doggy wellington boots for the sake of your floor when you get back.

ohh I know what you mean .. @41CombedaleRoad I do not really like dressing dogs up... just for fashion... but am very happy to do it for protection from the weather... as for wellies... I don't think so .. lol

He is a very cute dog. I also put raincoats and sweaters on my dog because she is a miniature Chiweenie and doesn't have a lot of fur. I am also looking into a pair of booties for her for when she comes to visit me in the mountains and it snows. The ice will freeze their little paws and when the ice & salt mix it can burn the pads on their feet.
