I don´t mind sewing interesting garments. Or, better said, I didn´t mind it when my eyes were good.
But I have always loathed making hems and today I had added miseries.
I had to hand hem a pair of jean and as all you know, the material is very strong and stiff. So the needle pinched my fingers and no, I don´t use a thimble.
But tomorrow I want to wear my new jeans to the dentist. And so I had to work for it.
Do you do works that you don´t specially like but that you do it towards a result you want or a goal?

I liked to sew when I was young enough so that my eyes were good. But not hems.

@LadyDuck I love the creative part of work around the house. I love to cook, but hate to wash pots and pans.

Yes, right now I have fever and colds. Still, I reported for work. I don't want my schedule or timeframe for the cases I handle to be messed up. Hence, I'm here in the office instead of resting.

But yesterday, when I went to the dentist, I went to shop for my watch´s chain. And there was this place where they did hems. I went to ask how much that was and came out happy. Taking the jeans to hem there would cost me around $3. I´m doing it for 2 hours of watching TV while I sew during commercials
