No eggs!

I was going to make brownies but all the eggs I have I hard boiled, so, later will be grabbing some more eggs. I need to take new photos, almost ALL of my photos were taken on trips with him, and they make me sad. Will sort them later, and shove them in a folder so I dont have to look at them and start taking new photos I guess.
I'm currently staying with a friend, I have a nice room, and she has a big house to herself, so me and Nibbler have tons of space. I like the house and the area. I like I am not by myself too often. It will take alot of adjustments though.
Still, I know that the things I miss, the companionship, the love, the physical touches (hugs kisses etc), were mostly gone the last 6 months or longer. I was trying to do what I could to bring us back together, but he wasn't. I dont know why or when or what happened, but HE checked out along time ago. I would have kept on fighting for Us. But it takes too.
And I deserve someone who loves me, wants to fight for me.
It's just hard.
Anyways, my housemate and I stopped by the local BBQ festival yesterday and had some grilled tasty meat, then hit a few garage sales, found nothing, we were kinda late to those. We also made a trip out to a covered bridge which was nice. Today she wanted to head over to a folk festival that she likes to go to once a year, so I will tag along to that. Then Monday she has to go back to work (She took Tues-Friday off to chill with me). I have nothing much planned for next week, aside from going to see gram mid week.
Well and being around on here of course.

I have heard you can use applesauce for eggs, I don't know from experience. It sounds like you are in a good safe place for now.

I had to do that not long ago. Had everything in the cake, reached for eggs and they weren't there LOL. So i quick looked up what to substitute, and used applesauce. It was edible, but not as good as the eggs woulda been!

Are you not working or on vacation? Keeping busy is good, having someone in the house close by is good too.

I'm pleased you have a nice place to stay and are with someone... you sound much more positive... and hopeful ... you will have those things again someday... you need to heal first... so that your next relationship wont have any baggage from the last one...

there are bits of time I am okish, then it hits me again, days are easier than nights, sleeping alone is killing me, and Im dying for hugs and physical contact, like a hand on the shoulder, etc

Sounds like you have a nice friend. I went through a divorce a couple years ago so I know what you are going through on the loving touching kissing thing. I have a good man now he helped me through my divorce. Things will get better and when the time is right you will find a good man that will love you and treat you right.

or woman. I'm pan. heh. But actually, since then, I have.... my friend. Neither one of us was looking for it, but it happened, and I'm happy. No, I still have wounds healing from this divorce, not that things ended...but the fact he cheated on me. That will...take awhile to hear. Even thinking about it drives another knife into my heart, even KNOWING I am happier now and wouldn't change a thing.

you want a summary? caught hubby cheating on me, no way for him to lie his way out of it (like he had been doing for months), I have videos, photos and logs of x rated horrific proof. cant afford the house alone, so I up and left. he was more sorry he got caught than actually sorry.....
anyways, messed up in the head and heart and currently living with a friend on FMLA
