National Pasta Day, October 17

A friend here on Mylot just reminded us that it was National Pasta Day today, October 17.
So I went surfing and found this interesting website about it;
All this talk about pasta made me salivate for some good homemade macaroni and cheese for lunch today. It will be welcomed as I haven't made it for quite a while.
There are so many different ways of making a dish with pasta, which one is your favorite?

@marlina I have to eat less carbs than most people or I dont feel well the next day, 150 carbs in a day is close to the max my body can handle, so I tend to just avoid things like pasta

@LoriAMoore I try to go lower, some days I do, some days I do not, I just know if I go over that 150 mark I will feel TERRIBLE the next day

We are having pasta today - mine will be plain with butter since I don't eat sauces.

@AbbyGreenhill I see, I have a delicate stomach also and I can't eat spicy foods.

@marlina I can't eat the spices - if was just plain tomatoes it would be ok - but once you add the seasonings I would throw up. It's not allergies - I have a bad stomach and many things I can't eat.

Anything Italian. I love Italian food. Think I'll have chicken Parmesan with spaghetti for my big midday meal in honor of the day.

Macaroni and Cheese is my favorite with extra cheese. I also like the tomato and meat pasta with extra cheese.
