The Halloween holiday is not celebrated in SA by many but those that do, its normally in private parties and done mostly by adults! We don't let our children roam the neighbourhoods looking for candy - that would be looking for trouble more likely. Our local TV network is showing a few of the scary movies during this month. Gremlins is one of them. A movies that starts out with a cute little fury pet, turns into a nightmare. Halloween I, II, III, IV, V - pick one to scare you senseless! I went to have cake and coffee with a friend and the cupcakes that were served - were pumpkin orange and to decadent enough to die for! (get the pun) So tell me how do you celebrate the Holiday of Halloween?

Normally we don't celebrate it but sometimes the shopping malls or some sellers may hold some activities to celebrate it.On the same time to increase the Sales. Do you like this holiday? Or what is your favorite holiday?

oh I am not overly fond of this holiday although it gives one a chance to dress quite weird to parties. My favourite Holiday for party celebrations is NEW YEARS

The kids go out here, even still to the neighborhoods...at least my mom's neighborhood is blocks of children going door to door. My mom always gets over 200 children each year at her door. We have a lot of churches and other places here now that do what they call trunk or treat where the children walk from car to car to collect. Starting last year many of the churches have gone together and go to one central location. We are having a Halloween/Fall party at our church this Saturday. I think they would have waited until the 29th but a few of us ladies will be at a quilt retreat that weekend and they didn't want us to miss out on it.
