Should I cook a nice omelette for dinner?

This evening I cleaned up the chives and changed that pots and the soil. They liked that and they are ready to be cut. Ever since I started my diet (except for the days when I go to Claudia´s) I have the feeling that I am at a starving borderline I am cooking nice diet food, but the amount of carbs we eat is miserable as compared to what we ate before. And I have the suspicion that Leticia will be placed in the same diet as yesterday she went for an urgent insulin and glucose resistance test. So, should I cheat and cook a lovely omelette? I have eggs, a bit of rice, some chives and I can add some grated cheese. Do you cheat on your diets?

Oh I cheat quite a lot but they knew I would and thats why it was so very strict in the first place. 1200 calories per day I am supposed to get whilst doing 2 hours walking and other stuff. So I sneak in anything I want to. Told them at the weigh in I would do that and as I am still losing weight and upping the activity I feel vindicated. Blood sugar normal since 3rd week in June. See. I was so bad before that 1200 caloriess is oonly about 25 percent of what I did before and I really have cut out nearly all the bad stuff. You have the omelette. The cheese also. A little bit of what you fancy now and then isnt going to kill you. Moderation. I have learned that much.

@Tampa_girl7 I add almost anything to eggs for an omelette depending on what I have in the fridge. The important thing is not to add too much of something else.

I only have one diet, I call it the see food diet. Actually if you make an omelette just add peas and mushrooms for the carbs might want then lots of cheese, it should not be too bad for your diet ..... I actually do not know very much about dieting.

I haven't cheated even once but it is only for 6 weeks and then I get a 1 week break where I can have a few foods that I want.

My diet is not to shed pounds but to learn how to eat in a way that I will not reach the diabetes limit

The eggs are perfect for dinner and they help to sleep better, for your diet avoid to add cheese and skip the rice too.

I was diagnosed with resistance to insuline some months ago. I went to a diabetologist last month and she gave me a diet and a pill. The diet is based on the food I normally eat, but in reasonable amounts.
