Just cleared an old fashioned bridge

A few years ago my husband and I had a big recreational vehicle, known as an RV. After working long hours all week we would like to take weekend trips a couple of hours away from home.
I would find the resorts online and we would make reservations without seeing any of them in person.
One trip we went to the Amish Country in Pennsylvania which we loved seeing. All those black wagons that the Amish would go to church in brought back so much history.
We made it to the campground late on a Friday night and we never knew there was an old fashioned covered bridge we had to go over. When I get scared or nervous, I get very quiet. My husband looked at the entrance of the bridge and there was no turning around. We went so slow and I thought we were going to get stuck.
When we finally made it through, the people that were behind us said they thought we were going to get stuck. So did we.

I know. I was so quiet as I was so scared. The thing was there was another entrance at the back of the park. If I had read up on it before we left we wouldn't have had to go through that.

I always loved the Amish country. It is so peaceful and being a little over an hour from where we lived I was amazed at the people and the area. It was like being in a different country but close to home.
