Greatest band of all time? And why?

Without a doubt, it's the Beatles. After 40+ years, their music still holds up. In fact, it blows most new music away. They wrote great songs, had innovative chord changes, experimented with integrating strings into rock music as well as eastern music, implemented new recording techniques, they basically did it all. And produced an astounding amount of recordings in just 8 years. There will never be another band to truly touch the hearts of the world like the Beatles did, and still do!

Afraid I'll be predicatble and say the Beatles. Oh well, just shows my age I suppose.

it was blink-182 but they broke up and now i like angels and airwaves, my favorite song from them is the adventure.
