I'm planning to change my ways specially that I am not really thrifty. I wanted to save now that I am already planning to retire in a few years. I found it hard. I made a little deposit to my bank account. Thereafter, I observed that I only have little cash on hand. So I have to make both ends meet until the next pay day. It's really hard what shall I do.

Try to look at your expenses. Track where you are spending your money. Once you have identified it, you can decide what you can cut down and what you can altogether do away with. Remember, always pay yourself first. Saving up is hard to do but the sooner you start, the better for you. Good luck.

Saving is not really a matter of luck, but of consistency and watching what you spend on and try to cut down.

Put any loose change (or whatever your currency is) in a jar until it's full. Learn ways to save money on groceries (coupons, discounted items) or clothing like thrift stores. Best wishes to you.
