I had a terrible sleep last night. I watched The Walking Dead before I went to bed and I had nightmares all night. I have never had a show affect me that way before but it was so graphic. It was a long stressful day at work today. The boss was in a bad mood so it affected everybody else. When I checked by blood pressure after work it was a bit high but I knew it would be. I have to learn how to handle stress better. Hopefully tomorrow he will be in a better mood and not be so nasty to everybody. I was hoping to get to bed early tonight but I just didn't feel tired. I am feeling an little anxious tonight so having a hard time unwinding and relaxing. Going to sign out and shut this off and see if I can get some sleep and hopefully tonight's dreams will be pleasant. Bye for nown and to those still on her Happy mylotting.

I have nightmares if I watch scary things so I avoid them. Just last night, we had started watching "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson, an older movie I had heard so much about based on a Stephen King novel. About 20 minutes into it, I knew it was not for me so we turned it off.

I seen that movie that was a good call. You wouldn't have wanted to watch that and then try to sleep afterwards.

@Happy2BeMe We watched a documentary about Norman Lear instead. He created so many great TV shows, like All in the Family.

@JamesHxstatic Oh yes he certainly did! Maude, The Facts of Life, Sanford and Sons and the list goes on There were a lot of great sitcoms back then and he created many of them. Oh yes and the Jeffersons and Good Times too! :)

I hope that you're sound asleep now getting the much needed rest that you deserve. We've had a stressful week at work thusfar too, and my b/p has been elevated as a result.

I had a pretty good sleep but I feel that my blood pressure is up this morning. Feeling a little lightheaded. I think it is just the thought of going to work and dealing with more stress. I wish I had more vacation time I would definitely take it just to get a few days rest. Hope your work week gets better. b/p issues are no fun!

@Happy2BeMe I'm glad that you got a good sleep last night-that makes a world of difference. My stress at work will continue as long as we are changing our business processes and ways of doing things, but...I only have to work a full day today and then 2 half days and then of course the weekend. That down time, of a couple of half days and the weekend are just golden in my world!

@Juliaacv That sounds good. I could handle that. I just have to keep telling myself that the weekend is just around the corner.

They say it's good to watch or do calming or happy things before bed. I know easier said than done. I hope today is better

It is the reason that I don't want to watch any horror movies before I sleep. On the other hand, I wasn't able to avoid it when the movie "Train to Busan" was aired. Well, perhaps your boss has a problem or is facing some issues? Sometimes, some people gets grumpy because something in them hurts physically or emotionally. And sometimes there are other reasons. I hope he will get better tomorrow. I do hope the same thing happens to you too - that you feel better.

Thank you. He is in a better mood today. I do realize that he has a lot of stresses with running his own company and for the most part he is good. It is just that when he is in a bad mood he gets mean and disrespectful with bothers me. I don't like being talked down to and made to feel stupid when I have been doing my job for 30 years and clearly know my job.

Maybe you should record the show and watch it earlier rather than just before you go to bed. Hope you get a good night sleep tonight.

@Happy2BeMe you never can tell what some of these shows will do to excite an audience and push up their ratings.
