Only bad thing about eating 1 meal a day is that your bodies metabolism slows way down and your body starts to store more body fat and uses your muscles as a fuel source. Therefore you end up with more fat and less muscle.

I had the most success with Medifast. Their website is www.medifast1.com if you're interested in reading more. I lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks and had to go off it because I found out I was pregnant. It was easy to follow and I wasn't hungry at all.

Adkins diet - Adkins diet
Try out the Adkins Diet, Ive gotten good results from this diet. Its a little bland but within a few months youll notice a huge difference.

I lost 25 lbs in a couple monthes last year using slimfast and relacore and walking alot. I doubt you'd call that easy though...

The goal in weight loss is to burn more calories than you consume. The way to avoid your metabolism from slowing is to eat small portions more often, don't let yourself get hungry. Read or visit someone while eating, this will help you eat slower an allow your body to realize when it has had enough before you 'overfill'. Eat things you like, cut fat consumption, cut 250 calories per day walk, dance, move around for at least a half hour daily, this will give you a 250 calorie burn in addition to your normal daily calorie burn. Moving more will burn more calories giving faster results. Give yourself one or two days a week to 'pig out', that way leaving those calories on the plate the rest of the week won't seem so bad. Drink water, avoid sodas, take vitamins with mineral suppplements and calcium to avoid bone and muscle loss. Don't measure loss in pounds, measure inches. Tone muscles, muscle burns calories even at rest. Bonus on exercising, for every hour you exercise you will burn calories at a higher rate for the next 15 minutes or whenever your heartrate slows to normal. Burn 750 calories and reducing from your diet will result in a daily loss of 1/3 pound per day.
