Sometimes, you see some interesting things on bumper stickers. This one really caught my eye. So, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you. Hopefully, you will see the point I'm trying to make. “Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than going to a garage, makes you a mechanic.” I have to say that I agree with that. Many church goers really don’t act like Christians the rest of the week. Being a Christian is a LIFE-STYLE. A person must live like a Christian EVERY DAY. Being a Christian means that you imitate Christ. Having read what the Bible says about Christ, I know that Christ would not get drunk. He would not smoke or take drugs. He would not LIE or STEAL or commit sexual immorality. He would not hate or kill or treat others badly. He respected his earthly parents and helped the poor and those who needed compassion. He lived a simple, clean life and was devoted to God in every way. He also took the time to teach others about God and preached about God’s Kingdom. It was very important to him to tell others about his Father and the Kingdom. I know this will be read by persons of other religions, but no matter what religion you choose to follow, the question is: Do you follow it completely? Or do you live your life in opposition to it? What do you think?
