Strange ? Yes ! Scary ? No!

Last 31st evening after dinner , I was at the bedroom watching TV and at the same time myLotting in bed . Hubby was at the receiving room outside the room on his desktop , surfing the net .
Suddenly , I saw the door open slowly . After it was wide open , it stopped . Then after about a minute , it slowly closed again .
Was it strange ? Yes . Was it scary? No .
In my mind , I thought that it could be one of the souls of my dearly departed because All Souls day was just two days away at that time .
I wasn’t scared , because I shall be praying for them all , which I actually did .
When hubby came into the room i told him about it . He won't believe me but i know he is scared . 
Have you too got a scary or stranger experience like this already ? Would you be scared if you were in my place at that time ?

I beg to differ,because I am an atheist.I reckon it had to do with the air stream in both side of the door.

@louievill I didn't ever think about that because all windows are already closed since everyone is in their bedrooms already except for hubby outside in the dining's receiving room .
What i find it strange is that it closed slowly .

@SIMPLYD did you examine the door? Buildings move. They change shape from being in the cooler nights to going into the hot noon sun. My old building makes noises like trees in the wind.
It wasn't that they opened. Closing by themselves was rather disturbing.

Could it be the wind? Or maybe just like you said, someone who needs your prayers. For me I had dreams seeing them; and I know they were asking for prayers.

There was no wind at all . All the doors and windows are already closed since everyone is in their rooms already , preparing to sleep .
Yes, i can't help connecting it to that since it's All Souls Day after a day when that happened .
And your your dreams of seeing them , that can indeed be a reminder for prayers .

That could be also . But i don't have that , or should i say i haven't ever used that .
SO , you are a fan of David Copperfield . I like watching him too , although when he levitates on those metal fences , i find it scary , i would stop watching .

@SIMPLYD i dunno if'n i'd call't brave? schtuff like that don't turn out well'n those scary movies, ya know 
....
i've seen 'n visited with folks who've crossed o'er, they've been nothin' to be frightened 'f. then 'gain, i don't seem to've run 'cross but 1 who'd ill towards livin' folks. that'd be 'nother really long story to tell though.

My experience of something paranormal-ish didn't exactly happen close to All Souls Day, nevertheless it still scared me. It was night and I am all alone in the house, I was in my room watching some awesome series in my laptop, the lights are turned on, and I was skeptical of paranormal activities before and even now! But, as the movie transitions and there is a five second delay in transition (black screen), I saw some white person-figured apparition pass by my back. It sent a chill down my spine as it looks so surreal, and I ran to my bed and slept without even turning off my laptop and the lights. That was one moment in my life I wish I did something MANLY! But cowardice prevailed that time.
