Day 57 Proverbs 12:7 Proverbs 12:7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. Terrorism is part of our world today. It has invaded every country and destroyed countless lives. Everyone wants to see an end to ISIS and all forms of terrorism, yet it seems to thrive and multiply instead of being annihilated. When we see the build-up of terrorism we wonder where is God in all this. Solomon showed that the wicked do come to destruction, they are disposed of and their name does not live on. He also showed that those who trust in God are the ones who will stand in the end. How long does one wait before God acts and destroys terrorism? When will we see the end of destruction on a personal and global level? Jesus addressed that issue when the disciples asked him when the end would come. Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Take note of that last verse. It is the beginning of sorrows. The end is still to come. As Christians, you are to remain steadfast to faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord. It isn’t an easy thing to do when you see so much devastation in the world, and it might seem like God isn’t in control, but as you read those verses above, you can see God has firm control over all the events of history, and one day everything will come to an end. Then Satan will be cast down and God will sentence him to eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. God will destroy the wicked as Solomon said he would do, and in that day, all the saints of God will rejoice because their salvation is secure in heaven with the Lamb of God, Jesus, our Savior. Let’s pray: Father, help me stand with the righteous and not side with wickedness, because you will destroy all wickedness in the earth. Help me proclaim your salvation and help bring people to salvation so they will not end up in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone when you judge Satan. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. This is quite a long post but worth it to read. I agree with you. Goodness will prevail at the end and I believe in that.

God is just standing by and watching to see what we are going to do and we shall see what is meant to happen in the end.
