I am normally not one to pay attention to what I earn on here, but I feel like the amount of how much I have been active is not really being justified. Perhaps I can look it up but what exactly is the difference between the cents of posting and commenting? I am seeing people earn 20 bucks on this site a month, and I have not even reached 3 dollars in the week, when starting off with 1 dollar from last month and I have been very active, devoting hours a day on here. I should probably just stop looking so I do not end up getting discourage from it. Money is not everything and I do love interacting with people. I just thought that this was very odd.

i see some people going on about earning 2 dollars per day and my best day has been about 78 cents, somehow i think that if you start a whole load of discussions and get a whole load of responses and then reply to all the responses you should do ok. but i daresay som eone will come along and tell you i am wrong. you are right about money not being everything but i have put in hours on here also and earned very little. odd indeed.

Nah, you're not wrong about it. The only thing I'd mention about that method is that it really isn't necessary to start a load of discussions. One with a good number of responses can be quite profitable if the poster takes the time to come back and continue commenting... basically carrying on a conversation is the key regardless of whether it happens on a discussion you start or a response you post.

It was odd because a little while ago like a few weeks I was doing the same activity and I got 30 cents in a day and then in like two weeks I was not earning anything and I was being just as active.

I'm usually here on and off for 4-5 hours per day, interacting and posting. I usually make around $15 per month. The ones that make more are here all day and night pretty much.

There isn't a set rate paid per post. It all depends on the amount of interaction your posts receive. More interaction means higher earnings.

I understand that. I was just pointing out that it was weird because a few weeks ago I would earn 30 cents a day and then for the past two weeks I was only earning 0.0001 cent a day and I have been just as active or even a little more active than I was when I was making 30 cents.

I used to do the same, but the thing is that it's just frustrates you in the end. More over when you don't have much to tell in the post, as for me I end up looking blank at the monitor hoping to make new post. Right now, Im just partcipating on other people's post.

It feels a little bit slow to earn here whenever you keep on checking your earnings page. So what i do is just interact. It is interesting to join discussions anyway. And before i know it, i already earned a dollar for it. So i feel it is great!

That is what I was doing. A few weeks ago I was earning 30 cents a day and then for two weeks I was doing the same activity as I was a few weeks ago and only a few cents a day . It did not make sense.

@Yadah04 Haha, it is not a full source of income for me, but it is great to have while I work on my income since I do not have a job haha

@DesirousDreamer having myLot as a source of income definitely will make you nuts. But then, personally being a full time mom, myLot is just a beautiful "distraction" from my daily chores, else i would go nuts. I feel good about myLot. The earnings is just a little bonis to this social interaction.

Some days are better then others. I just like coming here to see what everybody is up to and what they are talking about. I find it a great way to pass the time. Just keep posting and commenting and it will all start adding up.

It is not exactly the point I was making. I thought it was weird because it was go up very slowly because a few weeks ago I was active and earing 30 cents a day and then for the past two weeks I have been just as active or maybe even a little more active than usual and it was only going up 0.0001 cent a day.

@Happy2BeMe The situations just happened again. I was stuck at 3.7722 for about a day and then it just boosted another 10 cents. It is so weird! I wonder how often the counter is set to the actual amount you have earned.

@DesirousDreamer I find that some days it moves better then others. Like I was as active today as I have been most days but today I haven't even made half on what I did on other days.

You don't earn for what you do per say, but how others interact to what you do. So lets say that you commented to 20 discussions and did 2 discussions of your own, and of the 20 comments you got 10 likes and of the 2 discussions you did you got 15 responses on 1 and 5 on the other, you did a lot of work but you weren't rewarded for all of it. I have seen many posts about how not everyone likes things here and I feel that is part of how others interact. So that could be why you don't see increases as you would expect based on your participation. If others aren't interacting with you then your earnings will be lower. Hope I explained that well enough and didn't add more confusion.

I know this. I understand how the system works. I was only confused because a few weeks ago I was earning 30 cents a day and for the past two weeks I was only earning about 0.0001 cents a day, give or take and I have been just as active or even a little more active than I was then. It was probably just a lag in the system because as soon as I posted this my earnings went up a whole dollar.

Have to devote a lot of time to this to make a lot. I have made more this month than I have previously. Keep setting my goal a little higher each time. I think we forget sometimes that it is not what we do on here but how others interact with us that pays.

I am not expecting to make a lot. But it was not even going up in the micro cents like the 0.0001 cent for the longest time and after a few hours it would only go up 2 0.0001 cents. After I posted this, a few minutes it boosted and went up a whole dollar. I think either the system was lagging or something on my end was going on.

I think the system was just lagging that day.
