@fufurinha I read the newspaper and watch the news on my computer during the day. I want to spend a relaxing and quiet after dinner.

There are some people who prefer it. It depends on what and where you are watching

@fufurinha If you are watching TV outside of the home, what? You are watching some little screen instead of conversing at dinner or doing work? It makes no sense to watch a football game on a handheld device when the option of a large screen is available.

@JohnRoberts no, you might not have a tv in your bedroom. So that would be a reason to watch it on a tablet ou something like that

@fufurinha Usually I watch it on one of our TVs. Sometimes, I'll watch it on our iPad, but usually on one of our televisions.

@KristenH we have it here in portugal as well. I just didn't know it was called DVR

@fufurinha Digital VIdeo Recorder. You can record a show and watch another live on TV at th esame time. It's a little extra to add to the cable service.

@fufurinha one in the bedroom that I turn on before I even sit up. One in the living room that DH gets up and turns on to sports news. One in the kitchen so we can watch while doing kitchen tasks. One in the garage so Hubby can watch if he is doing his woodworking. One in the basement for when we are down there. I am sure that when I am not home, my husband turns all the TVs onto the same program so he can follow a show as he putters around the house.

yep. my parents watch TV....so i do see things by default...like at lunch or dinner times.....i happen to see what they are watching...but as soon as i am done i am back to my laptop.
