Squeezing In a Workout

I have made a commitment to myself to keep working out everyday for at least 30 minutes. DB (dear boyfriend) has transferred our elliptical to the workout room accessible to me, so it will be easier for me to do workouts. Now I have no reason not to do it. But lately, I have been feeling tired after work. My typical schedule on a workday is this: I get off work at 5, and I am usually home by 5:40. Then I will prepare our dinner which usually takes an hour or less if I have prepped the ingredients beforehand. Then dinner for another hour. Then I need to do homework or study for 3 hours. If I am taking 2 courses on a particular semester, this could be extended to 4 depending on what I have going on that week for school. Somehow, I can make it work if I immediately change to workout clothes and hop on the elliptical as soon as I get home. It is easier early in the week but as the weekend draws closer, I am feeling more and more tired, which is the opposite effect of exercising. I guess I just have to push on and make it happen.

Would it be easier if you woke up earlier in the morning and started with a workout? It would boost your energy for the day...
