A lot of information has not been given about GMO .We are told it's safe even told its a way to feed the world. But yet millions are still starving it doesn't regrow as it would in nature. Cancer rates are up as what a coincidence it is most likely in your 40s and 50s.Studies have shown that it causes tumors iaround your 40s and 50s then those studies were disregarded. So what are your thoughts

I feel that the reason why part of the world is starving is because there are too many foods in some parts of the world (at some places they even burn part of the crops) and there is no generosity to take it to the other countries. Those countries who have an obese population will some day repent for not using real food (not GMO) to feed the rest of mankind.

@TiffanyP That´s what I tried to say. The planet has enough food for everyone.

No real reason for starvation but greed . All that food thrown away from restaurants , market , or people could feed thousands. And no reason why our fruits and veggies need to be genetically modified but greed as well it's a way of them making money and making so we can't use the seeds from the vegetable and fruit we eat to grow them

I think it would be a good idea if you explained what the letters GMO mean. Members from other countries, whose native language is not English, may not know this.

@MALUSE Even if I put genetically modified foods someone who doesn't know what GMO is probably doesn't know the long version either but if it gets them curious enough to research it and decide based on what they learned then this is my hope.

If the idea of something eat being “genetically modified” doesn't scare you, you haven't lived long enough. God made this world good. Every time mankind tries to make it better, they screw up something! Why? Because often they don't think that far ahead to the future or even try to imagine long-term impact. They just want a quick fix to say they solved the problem and then move on to screw up something else! That's not to say it always happens that way. But I do have unanswered questions about GMOs. I don't think GMO is kosher!
One group after another is denouncing the genetically modified poison on grocery store shelves, adding to the chorus of voices demanding real untainted food. Natural Food Certifiers has announced today that any food product that contains GMOs is no longer

Can you say, 'glow in the dark?' I think GMO's are dangerous and they really don't know what will happen to people who eat GMO food.

There was a study that was disregarded by monesto the GMO makers and in that study was found that long term consumption caused tumors to grow. Can't remember the name of the documentary I'll look for it today to suggest you watch.

I try to avoid GmO foods as best as I can. I just read an article about Quaker Oats using some kind of pesticide on their oats so I have just stopped eating them. I found another brand but I'm not sure that is too much better. So, I am looking into organic oatmeal. It's a constant battle to try to eat healthy these days. I'm going to get my natural health blog back up and running.

@TiffanyP They said to eat locally too. That helps if eating organic is too expensive. Aldi's has good prices too. They are going to be going all organic and no gmo's.

And a lot of times people are forced to consume GMO because of prices. When your budget to feed a family of 4 with 25 dollars a week or less . But your be surprised that you can get good deals on organic as well .I've found a really big container of organic spinach for $1 as well as organic dressing at the 99 cent store.
