Why 2000 rs notes have been issued in exchange of 500/1000 rs old currency. they could have issued 1000 rs new currency. Does any one know why?

To be honest adding 2000 notes in place of 1000 will not to do any harm to black money holders, instead it has become more easier to hold the same black money which that Modi boasts about removing it. There's none like MODI who can act as a big hypocrite

@yugocean well not all, all the bjp supporting black money holders are already safe from this thing.... believe it or not it may help but modi government itself said that the amount of cash in black money in india is just 3%

@jazzyindian How did you made such claim when black money is now becoming paper? Black money is declared paper, nobody is spared. Might be you think people like Shatrughan Sinha, Advani etc are safe, but only if they do not have it. BJP or not, Modi did right thing.

First of all, You come here with just one comment, nothing else, so it is easy to know that you aren't real person but another fake account of black market. Every sane one can understand Demonetization means different value notes, to make it impossible to exchange the same value in banks.

I don't get it either. Are 2000 rupees notes tracked somehow? Maybe they're worth too much and they won't be used by black market. Nah, of course not.
