New Show Review - Mars

I saw the commercials for this during the game on Sunday and thought I would give it a watch.
I put it on DVR early yesterday just in case I forgot about it. I didn't, and I'm glad I didn't.
Mars is an interesting look into the future, a bit Science Fiction and a bit reality with a document style with the current time frame before fast forwarding to 2033 and the flight to Mars with seven or eight crewmen.
I like the way they married the two together to bring about a very interesting show, which I put on series record before the end of the program so I won't miss any future programs.
It's very realistic and I totally enjoyed it. Did anybody else watch this on the Nat Geo channel? What did you think of it if you saw it? I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, which premiered last night.

@just4him ......Commercials drive me nuts. I usually tape stuff I want to watch so I can FF through the commercials.

I didn't watch as they shoved those commercials down our throats for weeks. So sick of the commercials I just couldn't bring myself to watch. How have you been Valerie, I took some months off to refresh, I have missed you.

And I missed you. I've been thinking of you for weeks now wondering if I was ever going to see you back here again.
I've been good. I was going to the pool and I did start losing weight, but my UC got the best of me. Had a colonoscopy and went to the Doc yesterday to decide on new medication that will hopefully work so I can get back to the pool and begin losing weight again.
Other than that, just family issues. Nothing new about that. I did move and I love my apartment.

@fishtiger58 Me too. I've gained back all but two pounds of the 17 I had lost, so I know I need to get back in the pool as soon as possible.

I did not as I am still without cable but have plenty to watch catching up on Netflix and CBS all access. glad you can be so excited over something as I find looking forward to programs outcome has kept me going when other things haven't.

I didn't even hear that this new show was coming on! It sounds very interesting, and probably something I would enjoy watching. Unfortunately, I don't get the Nat Geo channel, so I wouldn't be able to watch it.
