The change of season

There has been a change in the season. I could feel the chill in the air. Early morning and late in the night are bit cold.
This has led to blocked nose and irritation in throat. Time to take out the warm and woollen cloths.
Last year we did not see much of winter. It was a blink and miss case. Hope we could enjoy this year.
I love winters. One remains energetic the whole day. The foods don't get spoiled. Also one can gorge on the spicy food without the fear of getting stomach upset. And not to forget the warmth of the stove does not irritates you.

Those are great reasons to like winter. Winter is my favorite season. I scraped windows this morning when I went out, so it is definitely coming, and I heard snow in the forecast for the state west of us. So it's closing in on us. We have it in the forecast this week.

I think I like winter best too although in Australia we don't have huge changes from season to season. Where we live we only have a few days of frost and no snow. In summer we might have a few days around 40C but mostly below that and the humidity isn't too bad. So we're very lucky.

I love Autumn except for the allergies, goodness it has been terrible this year haha! It is very chilly and my ears keep plugging up but I love the crisp feeling in the air.
