How fast can u drink a beer???

Any ideas, ive tried with a straw, by getting the straw in the bottle, leaving just an inch out and folding it, then covering it with ur mouth and drink as fast as u can, it usually takes less than 3 seconds, but i've tried with no straws and it takes more time. How fast can u drink one, could u give me any ideas or hints

I've never tried to drink them too fast. But I have a friend that can shotgun them really good. He can get down a whole glass without a straw within seconds. It's like he doesn't even swallow it just goes straight down hehe. It's pretty fun to watch lol.
