Planted okras again

Philippines
November 16, 2016 8:06pm CST
Since I got disconnected I decided to go back a little bit for my gardening. My bok choi plants have died probably to constant raining over the last two days. But some how my first okra pod has dried up, enough seeds for me to replant again. I'm not sure if their going to grow some day, but I'm crossing my fingers. I've planted a lot way back but only a few grew and some dried out as well.

I have never eaten okra. It is not grown in my country and just lately I have seen it at the supermarket and very expensive.

Maybe there's lack of demand or harvest over there @marguicha and I needed to grow myself since some okra's are bad quality. Even in the US? @FayeHazel

speaking of okra, ive been thinking about it with soy sauce and lemon. i love it boiled/steamed and just dip it into a spicy sauce.

Lemon is expensive, it has same cost as a viand here. And any soy products is forbidden to me @MGjhaud maybe I will just buy and boil them instead.

I have planted moringa, but only one survived and it's not growing like I hoped @Yadah04. I have planted some bok choi or pechay, but one strong rained killed them. next time, I'll put them to shade next time.

@Letranknight2015 too bad, pechay are very sensitive. they rot with too much water and wither with too little water. having vegetable garden actually saves some money.

I love okras. We had an okra plant when I was a kid. But now we don't have the space to plant okra.
