So this evening before the kids got ready for bed I had enough time to start making banana bread. I had found an easy recipe online that I could easily do with what I had around the house already. My mom had some ripe bananas that we all knew the kids wouldn't eat at there house. So I had my mom freeze them for me till I could use them. great way to use bananas that kids aren't going to eat. When they came out I wasn't sure my husband was going to like them because they looked burnt. He looked at them and said no they looked and smelled good. He took on up stairs while I was finishing with the last little bit of the muffins. I don't have a bread pan so I have to make them into muffins instead. He loved them and said they where better then his ex girlfriends banana chocolate chip bread. I took someones advise of adding a little bit of pumpkin spice to the mix. Tomorrow I'll post the how to make this for anyone that wants to make it for themselves. This was my first time making them and my husband also told me to hide what we had left away from him so he wouldn't eat them all. I took three and put them away for the kids to each have one.

yeah, banana bread tends to be brown, but it doesn't mean they're burnt. i think muffin pans are more practical than bread pans because they're already in individual serving sizes.

That sounds so great I can almost smell it. I love banana muffins and I love chocolate so this would be a great thing for me to make. Thanks for suggesting it. I also put my bananas in the freezer and sometimes use them in a slim fast shake.

@kobesbuddy practices and some times it’s where you live the elevation and the ovens. No two ovens are the same so some times a lower or higher temp is used.

I have never heard of until here banana bread with chocolate chips. Do you taste the chocolate chips a lot in it? I suppose you can make something into anything you want and put whatever you want inside of it.

@ShyBear88 Sometimes I use coconut wheat. It is expensive, but it is easy to bake with it.
