The Weather That Makes Me Want To Go Home

For the past days , the weather here is gloomy , a bit rainy and cold .
Aside from the fact that I lack sleep , the cold weather seems to make me so sleepy always .
Honestly , during the past days when the weather is like this , I feel like taking an undertime , go home and just be in bed watching TV or maybe sleeping .
But I have to control myself and keep working , lest documents would pile up for me to work on .
Besides , I don’t have paid leave of absences anymore . Can’t let my salary be deducted if ever I absent myself because of that .
Because I can’t go home right now , I just want a hot soupy noodles.
For yourself , what do you want to do when it’s gloomy , a bit rainy and cold whether at the office or at home ?
Note : This is Mayon Volcano today , a gloomy day .

Eat ice cream when it's cold and drink hot coffee or tea when it's hot. This trick will neutralize your inside and outside body temperature :)

@sunrisefan I have yet to try them .
But what i just did was drink Swiss Miss hot dark chocolate along with my bought snack of boiled egg and boiled banana.

I understand. We tend to be sleepy and lazy during gloomy day. When I was still working, I was experiencing the same. If I had a choice, I would just stay home but I did not own my time and had to work just the same. Now that I have retired, I can stay in bed as much as I could on bed-weather days so don't worry when you retire you can do what you want.

I would like to spend some time over there in the homeland during this time of the year... I think I would love it.. It won't feel that cold to me... I would probably shower in the rain .. lol ...

Yes, it's the time of the year when it's so nice to be walking in the sun , yet it is breezy and cold . 
Shower in the rain ? Well if it is cold , i won't dare . Good for you , because at least you are used to having a very cold weather already since living there .

That is so true . Noodles or food that are soupy is what i want when the weather is so cold .
Actually today , it is rainy ,. So when i went to our canteen i was wishing for a pork in sour tamarind soup with veggies . And i was so happy when there is !
I ate a lot because of that viand that goes with my rice .

Wow I loved the Image..Such a romantic place...
In home , I would sleep or Enjoy the weather from my balcony..
In office, I will try to complete the priority work quickly then will sit and enjoy the weather with a hot coffee

That's the view on one side of the 2nd floor mall where our office is . 
I do the same thing . I do all the priorities and relax a bit when i have done them .

Thank you . That's the most famous landmark , Mayon Volcano of our province of ALbay here in the Bicol Region of the Philippines . That's an active volcano . It erupts about every 10 years or less.
I can say that you are an extrovert because despite the gloomy climate you will still want to go out on weekends .

Thank you . It is always beautiful . Although on some days it is covered with clouds that you will not know that itis just behindthe clouds .

Really , it was gloomy there too? Was t rainy there too . It was rainy in the afternoon until evening . But very nice now to sleep , because it's cold . The rain has stopped already .

That i would like to do really . But , there's none here at the office canteen , so i just drink a mug of hot Swiss Miss dark chocolate along with my snack instead .
Gosh , i was surprised when i sipped at my choco drink , because it was so hot i think it scalded my tongue .

Indeed when the weather is cold and gloomy , one wants to be justin bed - it's actually a "bed weather" . ha ha ha
Mayon is gloomy too , so it's not as beautiful as its other pictures . But still she's beautiful isn't she . We call her Daragang Magayon - Beautiful lady . he he he

It does look gloomy by you. I feel the same way when the weather is gloomy like that. I've been fighting the idea of taking a nap. I really don't need it, I got plenty of sleep last night. So I got some chores done and made myself something to eat - spaghetti that I'm eating right now. So your soupy noodles is a good idea.
