Embedded in the Constitution is the right of Assembly. Americans have the right to protest. This fundamental right must never be challenged and taken away. There are people who would like for this to happen. However, with what is occurring today in politics the protest movement is alive and well. Minority rights must not be trampled upon. Bigotry and hate must be stamped out. Our environment must not be destroyed at the whims of those who would benefit from it. Our entitlement programs are in danger from the GOP who values privilege over the rights of all Americans.

As long as protests are peaceful they are okay. When they turn into riots, then another set of laws should apply to that

@zebra2222 having trump as a president makes Americans look dumb. It's a scary thought.I have mixed kids am the complete opposite of wealthy so it scares me . I don't want my kids to have to deal with racism I teach them to respect all cultures.

The Constitution doesn't give people the right to burn down buildings or steal things from other people who worked for them. It's easy to generalize when you're not the one whose business was destroyed or who had your property stolen. We're close to anarchy in this country. We should never give up our right to peaceful protest, but that doesn't include theft, arson, and murder.
