Red - color of the day

It is Sunday and I went to church at 6:oo in the morning. The cloak of the priest is red as well as the cover of the altar table. During the sermon, it was explained that all are red because we are celebrating Christ the King.
In the afternoon, we went to the Cathedral of St. Mary to attend the ordination of our new priest. All the priests who were celebrating the ordination wore red. That is why I was fascinated with the color. Red is really my favorite color.

I go for blue or green, soft soothing colors. Red however is an attention grabber. It want you to notice.
