I Found One of My Writing Class Books Yesterday

I was going through a box of books in my office closet and found this book. This book is called “Now Write!” and is a GREAT source of “thought starters.” It has exercises from Gay Talese; Ishmael Beah; Reza Aslan; John Matteson; Lee Gutkind and others. You’ve heard me talk about this before, I’m sure. Basically, it’s just the beginning of a sentence and then you, as the writer, create a short article or story out of the idea. Here are a couple examples: I will make it a challenge for you. And I will accept the challenge for myself and write on these subjects over the next week and see what I can come up with.
