No Physical Therapy for Me

Well, this sucks. Medicaid doesn't cover physical therapy in my state. I was signed up for the charity program at the physical therapy place through my local hospital and told I'd have to pay $5-$10 per session. Today I called before my appointment to check that I'd been approved. The same lady I'd previously talked to said I'd been approved and I'd have to pay $20 per visit! When I said I'd been told $5-$10, she said she'd never told me that!!! $20 per visit - when the visits are 2 to 3 times per week - are just not doable for me.

That's a lot of money. Did you try other places?

There are some other places affiliated with hospitals I could try, I've emailed my doctor though first to see what she wants me to do.

I am sorry to hear that maybe you can check with your doctor and see if there is someplace that's more affordable. I hope you get something worked out.
